Oahu Snorkeling Tours

Three kinds of Oahu tour cover most trips: short boat rides from Waikiki to Turtle Canyon, full day minibus loops with a North Shore turtle stop, and transport packages to Hanauma Bay. Pick by season and by what you want to see. Every listing here came from a public listing page, so confirm group size, gear and rates before you book.

Boat or beach?

Boat tours vs shore snorkeling in Oahu

Waikiki boats reach Turtle Canyon in minutes and give the best odds of green sea turtles from a city start. Shore snorkeling at Waikiki, Hanauma Bay and Ko Olina is free or cheap and needs no boat, but you handle conditions yourself. On the North Shore, tours only make sense from about May to September, when Sharks Cove and the nearby beaches are calm. In winter, choose a south shore or west side tour instead. Hanauma Bay tours mainly solve reservations and transport.
